Enugu Govt Shifts Town Hall On Digital Land Reforms

The Enugu State Government has announced the postponement of the stakeholders’ town hall meeting on its Digital Land Transformation Programme, earlier scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 2 December 2025, at the Enugu International Conference Centre.

The postponement was disclosed in a statement notice issued by the Commissioner for Information and Communication, Malachy Agbo.

Mr Agbo said a new date for the engagement would be communicated to the public once arrangements are concluded.

He explained that the government regrets any inconvenience the change may cause invited guests, partners and other stakeholders, adding that the administration remains committed to broad consultations as it implements reforms aimed at modernising land administration in the state.

According to the statement, the town hall meeting is a key component of the state’s ongoing efforts to promote transparency, enhance public understanding and strengthen confidence in the digitalisation of land processes.
