Borno Military Base Attacked by Boko Haram, Multiple Soldiers Killed

Suspected Boko Haram terrorists launched a deadly attack on a Nigerian military camp in Kukawa Local Government Area, overrunning the facility and killing the commanding officer along with several other personnel.

The attack occurred in the early hours of Monday, around 12:30 a.m., when the insurgents approached the base from multiple directions and engaged troops in intense fighting, according to local security sources familiar with the incident.
