About the Artist

Olayinka Lawal who is popularly known as DJ YK Beats is a Nigerian disc jockey and music producer.

He was born on the 27th of August, 1993, and hails from Sango Ijoko in Ogun State, Nigeria.

DJ YK is an alumnus of Tai Solarin College of Education. 

His career as a disc jockey started back when he was still in Abeokuta at the age of 17. He became an internet sensation when he started making beats and some of these beats went viral online. His first hit was the “South African Beat Style” and since then DJ YK Beat has continued to make the best use of trends to stay relevant and expand his fan base.

He jumped on trends like ‘Zazuu Zehh‘ ‘Warisi’, ‘Are You Mad Or Something’, ‘Polytechnic Cruise’, and many others.

However, the sharp sweet new tune “ Fuck Up Dance”, acts as a follow-up to his recently dropped song tagged, Oniduro Dance Version.
