The Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, Mr. Bitrus Giwa, has tasked Cadet Assistant Superintendents of Police (CASPs) on a two-month in-training attachment in the State to be diligent and committed to acquiring practical policing skills.

Mr. Giwa delivered the charge during the reception of Regular Course 8 Cadet ASPs of the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano, at the State Command Headquarters, GRA, Enugu.

He urged the cadet officers to take their attachment seriously, remain observant, and gain professional, ethical, and operational policing experience.

Mr. Giwa also warned against any action that could damage the image of the Nigeria Police Force or jeopardise their future careers.

Following the briefing, the cadet officers were posted to selected police divisions across the State, where they have commenced their attachment.
