Enugu South LG Boss Hails Gov. Mbah on Sun Man of the Year Honour

The Executive Chairman of Enugu South Local Government Area, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Caleb Onyema Ani, has congratulated Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah on his prestigious recognition as The Sun Man of the Year.

Describing the award as well-deserved, Dr. Ani noted that it reflects the Governor’s reform-driven governance, visionary leadership, and unwavering commitment to transforming Enugu State across critical sectors.

He said the recognition underscores the steady pace of development across the state, evident in improvements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic revitalisation at both the community and state levels.

“This national recognition is not just a personal milestone for His Excellency, but a proud moment for Ndi Enugu. It affirms that purposeful leadership, backed by competence and courage, will always attract national and global acknowledgment,” the chairman said.

Dr. Ani added that the council remains fully committed to supporting the state government’s agenda by implementing people-oriented policies and driving grassroots development initiatives that align with Governor Mbah’s transformative vision for the state.

He further prayed for sustained wisdom, strength, and divine guidance for the Governor as he continues to steer Enugu State on a path of progress, innovation, and inclusive growth.
