Have You Seen Any Of these Nigerian Web Series? By Solumtochukwu Ella Okonkwo

In a post made by Nigerian writer, Solumtochukwu Ella on her Facebook page, she had stated thus;

So Maria was evicted yesterday?

If not for web series on YouTube, what is BBN that I cannot follow till the end?

I started with it but I can’t have my web series on YouTube and keep up.

If you are a web series fanatic like me, you should check these out on YouTube.

1. Jenifa’s diary –

Mt best sitcom series and I’m not minding the longevity. It’s an educative series about being human and dealing with your fellow humans.
A story about growth and the many hurdles to pass. A young adventurous school dropout grew from her village, Ayetoro to being a hairstylist in Lagos.

Funke Akindele outdid herself.

You can only watch by subscribing to Sceneone TV App but seasons 1 to 10 are free on their YouTube channel.

2. Best Friends in the World –

The three sisters who put this together are real gems.

It’s all about school, peer pressure, surviving as a student, adolescent and navigating through what you want, what your parents expect of you and what the society thinks you should do and be. It’s recommendable for your adolescents who can learn through the lens of those like them.

Check out the first season on Neptune3 studios.

If you are impatiently waiting for the season 2, comman hug me.

3. Bad gang.

This is another bang and where I fell in love with Uche Nwaefuna. That beautiful Ada Igbo is a natural.

This series is all shades of the University life and how most times – it’s okay to learn from other people’s experiences.

Uche had to deal with two JJCs who came with a mind of their own and are bound to change for peer pressure and bad choices.

Bconcept Network have the key to Bad gang on YouTube.

4.Meet My Girlfriends.

Another sweet story,

Of living with different personalities and facing different obstacles on the way up.

My Uche Nwaefuna is here too as a real Igbo girl who like money and tells it to you straight up.

Adaku of Jenifa’s diary is here too.

Beautiful Zynell of Love Regardless is here.

I fell in love with Olori’s character. The actress is good. She played that annoying role so naturally that you cannot but love her act.

5. Husbands of Lagos!

You should have watched this series.

Seven men living in Lagos and the women in their lives. More like a reality show.

Iroko TV served this tea. Hot and very chilled..chilly hot

6. Like Filtered Water by BN MEDIA Film Academy

Guy, I’m glued!

I’m proud of them. Super proud of what they are serving us.

Like filtered water a high school miniseries, about students with different abilities, beliefs and structured views about life.

Of peer pressure and the silent stories of most students out there.

Of a call out against bully and every similar act.

Imagination TV gworo this premium Abacha.

Search for them now and subscribe so you can come back later. It’s not a rushing something.
It’s like Netflix and Chill.

7. TMC –

The men’s club where you learn all secrets. – RedTV

8. Rumor has it –

A story about the life of a blogger whose sad story got blogged. The story is similar to Toke Makinwa’s story shaa.

My Jemima Osunde is on this and every character outplayed his/her role.

9. Man of her dreams.

The lead character was dating a man in her dreams unapologetically till he turns out to be his neighbor in reality.

Dear God, most of us are living and enjoying with the man of our dreams every day, even if he doesn’t turn out to be our neighbor, let’s meet them anyhow and somehow.
