AR: What attracted you to begin a career as an actor?

CDO: My enthusiasm for stage plays and drama productions and, film making and the entertainment industry. Also the sorry state of the Educational sector.

AR: What’s challenging about bringing this script to life?

CDO: Challenges about bringing a script to life is: my environment; the vibe exuded by my fellow acting colleague; and the kind of character I am to portray as opposed to my background and temperament.

AR: You played a supporting role in BN MEDIA Film Academy Original series, Like Filtered Water S1. Tell us about the character, what is challenging about it and what do you love most about it?

CDO: I played the character named Francis Ugwuanyi.
Francis became the replacement companion of late Dave to Emerald. Who seems to be developing feelings for Emerald. Francis, (similar to Dave) was to attacked and bullied courtesy of Tricia who is Emerald’s rival. The challenge is that I have to be bullied, it brings back some unpleasant memories.
Love the fact that I hav to maintain a calm, gentle nature in order to be bullied; and I get to get so close to two pretty female characters- (emerald and Rita).

AR: What is your strength as an actor?

CDO: My looks, my learning zeal, my sociable personality, my communication skills and ability to improvise. I go with the flow of whatever character, I am to portray and whom I’m to act with.

AR: How do you think success has changed your life?

CDO : I cannot say so soon because I haven’t gotten there yet.
I am still undergoing training and several processes coupled with some unpleasant experience.
It takes time you know unless you get divinely favoured.

AR: How do you react when you receive a negative review about a performance?

CDO: I listen attentively. Sometimes I attempt to defend myself and explain the character to the critics. After all been said, I’ll get back to my shelter, I would adjust, take corrections if and where necessary, and improve my personal training.

AR: How do you prepare in advance for a role?

CDO: I pray. I then seek and see some movies of several characters that portrays the same or similar role given to me.
Then I practice alone using my mirror and imagination.

AR: The entertainment industry is said to be full of stress, pressure and difficulty people. Let talk about directors particularly the director of your last film, Like Filtered Water. Describe the experience working with Benneth Nwankwo.

CDO: My experience working with Sir Ben as I would fondly call him, was and still is a productive and enlightening one.
As long as I did, and said what I was supposed to do and say respectively, my working experience with him was quite an effective and efficient one.

AR: What message would you want to give to your fans?
