PSC Begins Recruitment of 50,000 Police Constables

The Police Service Commission (PSC), in partnership with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), has launched the recruitment of 50,000 police constables, following a directive from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The recruitment drive aims to strengthen community policing, enhance internal security, and expand the manpower of the Nigeria Police Force. Interested Nigerians can apply online from Monday, 15 December 2025, to Sunday, 25 January 2026, via the official portal: www.npfapplication.psc.gov.ng.

Eligibility and Requirements:

Must be a Nigerian by birth

Age: 18–25 for General Duty, 18–28 for Specialists

Medically, physically, and psychologically fit

Minimum height for General Duty: 1.67m (male), 1.64m (female)

Educational qualifications: GCE/SSCE/NECO with required credits

Specialists must have 3+ years’ relevant experience and trade tests.

The PSC stressed that the recruitment will be merit-based and fully transparent. Applications are free, and candidates are warned against fraud. Detailed guidelines and updates will be available on the official PSC and NPF websites and social media channels.

The Commission urged all qualified Nigerians to seize this opportunity to serve their country.
