Regent of Nri Kingdom wishes Ndigbo and Christain community across the world a Happy Easter celebration (Read Details here)

His Majesty, Regent Prince Ikenna Onyesoh [Idevuteaku Na Nri], The Regent of Nri Kingdom in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra, And the custodian of Igbo culture, custom and tradition; has joined ndigbo, and christian community across the world in the glorious celebration of the resurrection of our lord Jesus Christ; which is culminated with Easter.

Speaking to Newsmen in His palace,
His Majesty The Regent described Easter as not only a period to mourn the trials, crucifixion, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, but also a moment in the life of men to have a sober reflection of their life..

His Majesty equally used the opportunity to restate his unequivocal stand against domestic violence against men, women and children.
Using the recent death of celebrated gospel minister; Mrs Osinachi Nwachukwu as a point of reference, the Regent said she died a very well avoidable death..

While calling on all concerned stakeholders to join hands in the campaign against domestic violence, His Majesty who is also known globally as the face of Igbo Youths, noted that youths are the strength of every Nation, insisting that no County can progress without involving the youths in the centre of governance. According to the Majesty, he said that without the youths taking over political affairs in Nigeria, things may not get better.

He called on the President Muhammadu Buhari to hand over the mantle of Leadership to more energetic young man who still have much strength to combat Nigeria numerous challenges and also call on the Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency Prof. Chukwuma Soludo to include more Youths in his government, he said.

The Regent also used the opportunity to call on youths to shun drugs and cultism, as it only leads to destruction, he concluded
