St. Mary’s Eucharistic Parish Nri marks their feast of Christ the King (See Adorable Pictures)

Yesterday catholics marked the solemnity of Christ the King (Corpus Christi) with procession in all dioceses and parishes across the nation.

The feast marked the last Sunday of the Catholic liturgical year as the church awaits advent.

Priests of the Catholic Church will carry the Monstrance during the processions, followed by the religious and laity, who will identify with Christ as the symbol of their faith, All parishes are to have their own processions during the day.
The feast is of great importance to all and during the celebration, proper and befitting reverence is given to Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament.

At St. Mary’s Eucharistic Parish Nri, parishioners are not left out as all came out enmass to mark the feast of Christ the King.
The procession started from the church down to Holy Mango to Eke market to Museum to Ezumezu market and back to church.

Some of the notable personalities present includes Chief Eddy Onuorah, Sir Chuka Okpoko, Prince Pascal Onyesoh, Sir Emma OKafor, Sir (Dr.) Obiora Okafor, Sir Reuben Okafor, Osy Aguolu, Peter Ekwuonu among others
