Widow Sheds Tears of Joy As Sen. Ekwunife Inspects Completed 3-Bedroom Bungalow She Built For Her Family In Enugwu-Agidi

Enugwu-Agidi community in Njikoka LGA, on Tuesday, stood still and was electrified as the Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Iyom Uche Ekwunife, led her entourage to inspect the completed 3-bedroom bungalow project she built for a widow in the community.

The project which is part of the second phase of the housing project the federal lawmaker better known as the Servant of the Masses built for the less privileged is geared towards providing shelter and succour to the beneficiaries.

The traditional ruler, Igwe Michael Okeke-Uche while playing host to the quintessential federal lawmaker assured that Enugwu-Agidi community is ready to do more than enough for the Senator. The monarch who conveyed the appreciation of the community described Ekwunife as a mother and model to aspiring politicians, commending her for other projects she has attracted to them particularly the Enugwu-Agidi/Isuaniocha road.

The respected monarch promised that the relationship between the community and the lawmaker is a robust partnership that would continue to work. While feeling special over the gesture of putting shelter over the head of the widow, Igwe Okeke-Uche prayed God to abundantly reward Ekwunife.

“We are here to join in the inspection of the completed bungalow built for a widow in this community by our senator. She is very intentional about attracting economic projects and I know that God will bless and reward her continuous impact on the lives of constituents”, the Monarch remarked.

The beneficiary of the project, Mrs. Maureen Okekenta broke down in tears when she joined the senator to inspect the facility, saying that her late husband would be very happy wherever he is. She described Ekwunife as God sent to humanity and urged constituents to prioritize the re-election bid of the lawmaker.

Speaking further, the visibly excited widow prayed God to keep Ekwunife in good health as she continues to be the best lawmaker.

Senator Ekwunife who also the Chairman Senate Committee on Science, Technology and Innovation eulogized the traditional ruler for the manner he has been piloting the affairs of the community.

The senator reassured that she will not be tired of offering impactful representation to the people.
