On the 3rd of April, 2022, Mama Africa popularly known as Yemi Alade got a Grammy recognition for her contribution on Angelique Kidjo’s Mother Nature album. Mother Nature nominated alongside Wizkid’s Made In Lagos and The Kuti’s Legacy+, won the Best Global Music Album category.

Produced by Egar Boi the new tune, “My Man” acts as a follow up to “Tell Somebody”  featuring the Mozambican sensational Yaba Buluku Boyz- DJ Tarico, Preck and Nelson Tivane. 

About the Artist

Yemi  Eberechi Alade, is a Nigerian Afropop singer, songwriter, actress and activist. She won the Peak Talent Show in 2009 after which she signed to Effyzzie Music Group, and had a hit with her single “Johnny” in 2014.
